Keep up with Open RSS updates in our Changelog
We've been hard at work over the past year, and you may have missed some crucial updates if you didn't know about our Changelog (which also has an RSS feed). It contains everything we do as an organization from day to day. Even if you don't follow our Blog, the issues we're working on, or anything else we publish, you can find it all in our Changelog. It's the one, single place to find out everything we're up to without ever missing out.
What it includes
Many Open RSS updates can be extremely technical, uninteresting, and frankly quite boring to some users. So we ditch all the technical jargon, fluff, and try to make short, quick, no-nonsense updates that are easy for everyone to understand. In the Changelog, you can find:
- New RSS feeds we've added, changed, or fixed
- Blog articles we publish, including updates made to them
- Issues we open and when they're updated or resolved
- Changes made across the website, including About Us pages, our Privacy Policy, etc
- Anything we do offline, including meetings, presentations, and networking events we may participate in
Changelog vs Change Log?
Believe it or not, this question has been asked a handful of times and probably does need some clarification. Although, "Change Log" (with a space) is technically correct, we've adopted "Changelog", a convention that's more widely accepted and appropriate in the context of our organization.
Why a Changelog
As a nonprofit organization, staying transparent with our users is one of our top most priorities. The Changelog is an important tool to maintain this level of transparency.
Publishing updates in our Changelog not only keeps our users well-informed on our progress and its impact. But it also shows that we're consistently working on behalf of our donors and the users who continue to support us on our journey to bringing back the free and open web.
And as always, we value your opinion. So if you run into any issues or have any feedback when using our Changelog, or just have a question about it, please let us know.
