Reeder doesn't work with Open RSS feeds

We've since fixed the issue with Reeder app and should now be working for all users. If you are still experiencing issues with one of our feeds in Reeder, please let us know.

Many users have reached out to let us know Open RSS feeds aren't working in the Reeder app, and we've already reached out to the Reeder app developers about the issue when we knew about it weeks ago. However, there has been no sign of any response. Unfortunately, unless the Reeder team responds and works with us, there's not much we can do. We don't even know where to start debugging the issue because the vague error screen doesn't provide much information.

Our RSS feeds have been tested and work fine in other RSS reader apps. Reeder seems to be the only one that has issues.

We encourage anyone affected by this issue to let the Reeder team know, so we can get to the bottom of this and finally get Open RSS feeds working in the Reeder app.
