Akamai websites are denying access for RSS feed generation

Access Denied errors have begun to occur for RSS feeds that are powered by websites hosted by Akamai. As a result, these feeds have stalled and are failing to update with new content.

RSS feeds powered by the following sites are impacted:
Not every RSS feed powered by these sites is impacted. But some feeds are. Some feeds only get the message occasionally, then resolve after some time. Others never resolve. Still investigating the cause.

Akamai offers these websites a "Bot manager" that, when enabled, may cause Akamai to automatically block us due to our web scraping—even though the scraping is just to populate RSS feeds and done very judiciously. We believe Akamai is mistakenly blocking us as a malicious bot. Not all feeds powered by these sites are impacted, so still testing to confirm the cause and whether or not the issue can be avoided.
