Podcast Addict users unable to access RSS feeds

The Podcast Addict application is making an influx of requests to websites at once. As a result, users of the application are being denied access to prevent further degradation of services.

First noticed Podcast Addict users being blocked when attempting to use RSS feeds in the app. This is due to the app making excessive requests and is failing to adjust its requests, despite warnings included in server responses.

Reached out to the Podcast Addict developer to notify them of the issue and to ask if it's possible to decrease the amount of excessive requests being made to avoid its users being blocked.

The developer has refused to work with us on a resolution. Unfortunately, without the cooperation of the developer, there's not much we can do to resolve the issue. Podcast Addict users may have better luck filing a complaint with the developer directly.

This issue has been resolved and is now being mitigated by restricting the application's requests through our abuse protection. Because Podcast Addict is not a verified reader, it will continue to be automatically restricted when excessive requests are made—even if those requests are made across multiple IP addresses and regardless of their User Agent.
