RSS feeds not working in The Old Reader

  Confirmed feeds are not working because the application is being blocked for making excessive requests to websites for feed content. To resolve this, the application should do the following:

  • Eliminate unnecessary feed requests by waiting for the max-age response header to expire
  • Declare a proper Accept header in its requests

  Contacted the support team to advise them of the issues.
