RSS feeds for Instagram have been blocked

Instagram RSS feeds were found not to be operating correctly.
After investigating, we've found Instagram has blocked our requests made to obtain its content for RSS feeds, redirecting all attempts to either a blank login page or a generic error page.
The responses do not give any recommendations to resolve or otherwise show any indication that the requests are being rate-limited or blocked.
-
Attempted to decrease the amount and frequency of requests, which has some feeds working again. But many are still not functional.
-
Increased the time between each request, which seemed to resolve a few more feeds.
-
Despite all previous adjustments, all requests for feed content from Instagram are now blocked. We've disabled all Instagram feeds and added a user-facing message to communicate the situation to users. We are looking into other options.

Instagram feeds are working again, but only partially. Some feeds are slow to load, and have missing and/or outdated content. We'll be testing these out and addressing any issues over the next few days to ensure their stability.

Resolved a few issues that were causing some feeds not to populate. Meanwhile, we're seeing that images in older content in Instagram feeds aren't working. Instagram seems to place some sort of limit on how long it allows photos to show outside the platform.
