Bluesky RSS feeds

Bluesky offers its own RSS feeds, but we also offer an improved version of them, with the following benefits:

  • Embedded links in the feed (Blusky's feeds dont appear to have them)
  • Includes post images
  • Replies shown in context
  • More post metadata included

User profile feed

  1. Go to any user's profile on a Bluesky instance (e.g. bsky.app/profile/jay.bsky.team).
  2. While on the page, add openrss.org/ at the beginning of the URL of the page in your browser bar.
  3. Navigate to the updated URL to generate the Open RSS feed.
  4. Add the RSS feed to your RSS reader.

Bluesky's RSS feeds

Instead of using Open RSS Bluesky RSS feeds, you can use Bluesky's RSS feeds directly. To get a user's profile feed:

  1. Navigate to any user's profile on any Bluesky instance (e.g. bsky.app/profile/jay.bsky.team).
  2. Right click to inspect the HTML on the page.
  3. Find the <link> tag with the application/rss+xml identifier.
  4. Copy the RSS feed URL in the href value of the <link> tag. It should look similar to https://bsky.app/profile/did:plc:oky5czdrnfjpqslsw2a5iclo/rss.
  5. Paste the copied value in a new tab in your web browser.
  6. Navigate to the URL, which should show the RSS feed.
  7. Add the RSS feed to your RSS reader.
